Funny stuff for the day:

Edwin, juliana and me decided to go to cwp to have our lunch aft team-building day. We went to the bus stop jus outside harbour front mrt to wait for bus 963R. Actually after seeing how long the bus is going to take for us to reach woodlands, we did thought of taking the mrt. But, we decided to take bus cox 1) we walk all the way here to take bus, 2) bus and mrt timing is ard the same. We sat down and waited for bus while chatting. However, we realise the bus going to resort world sentosa came at least thrice but ther's no sign of bus 963R. We got impatient. And it's rly pissed off when we see the board there writes: weekday no bus (nil). Hahahahaha. It's such a joke that we waited for at least 15mins for a bus which does not operate on weekdays. In the end, we'll have to take the mrt eventually no matter what. It makes me dunno wan to laugh or cry lol. 3 blur sotongs -_-

It's teambuilding day at sentosa. Haha...a sunny day indeed which kept us perspiring. We were so excited to go for the outing as a class (ran to board the bus). It's great to be able to take the skyride and luge even though i'm afraid of heights. Lol. Heaven was good to us cox it only rains when we are on our way back.

Pass my napfa too! Finally can play games soon. This is what i've scored.. 1) Pull up-19 (i can do better--> last yr did > 25--->drastic drop :(  ),
 2) Sit and reach- 46, 3) Sit up- 32,
4) Shuttle run- 11.4s
5) Standing broad jump (my weakest of all)- 166cm, 6) 2.4 km run- 16:30
Even though i didn't have high expectations of myself in sports and didn't push myself rly to the max limit. As long as i can pass it, i'm contented enough. LOL.

Got back my Alvl chinese results, been waiting for this moment for quite some time oredi haha. My heart was pumping fast while waiting for my turn to get my results. One name aft another was being called out until finally my turn is here. I received my certificate and i saw my grades. Yipee~~~ i got myself an "A"! Just a word to describe how i felt at that point of time- overjoyed. There's still 6 more subjects to go. I dun think i've fare well for my common test this yr (dunno my grades yet) even though it's only 10 percent of the whole yr's grade, quite disappointed? But i hope tis chinese a lvl grade do boost up my morale and confidence once again.

Yeah.. it's olympic festival in school. There's a lot of fun and excitement even though it's rly a hot day. I can even see spectators sweating while watching track events. Wahaha.. but nevertheless, even though my house came in last but i believe that strong friendship bonds are forged between houses. Afterall, it's not the victory that matters most, but the unforgettable memories that leaves a mark in your life.

Went Malaysia yesterday again... so tired that i slept till 12.45pm in the afernoon today. -_-

Actually to think of it, my "cca" journey since primary sch till now is quite interesting. Such a pity, i've not been in any uniform group before. Primary school: i'm in 1) dance club ---> until my school location change---> 2) library club, 3) IT club. Secondary school: 1) Outdoor adventure club (ODAC),
2) Home Economics club (HOMEC), 3) Marsiling Chinese Language Club (MCLC) + drama. Tertiary education: Chinese Cultural Society (CCS)

Involved in Chinese Festival Of Arts 2010 as the lighting operator cum backstage props. Learnt quite alot esp lighting techniques as it's my first time experience in lighting with an instructor beside me. Luckily everything turns out well and it's a great success. It's at the esplanade, an open space performance for fresh takes drama. Even though it's tiring as i've to report to esplanade at 7.20am in the morning but it's worthwhile to exchange it wit a few more hrs of slp. Have a great time doing yoga taught by ARTtivate members. Haha.

Seng Siong director- Mr Lim Hock Chee, to him, the key of success is being honourable in life and persevering when faced with challenges. He also attributed his success to pure hard work. On managing stress, he asserted that stress is just a form of motivation and it should be a driving force in life that pushes us to go beyond our limits and achieve our goals. My sec sch have a chance to interview him as his son studies in our school and we were all enlighten by his words of wisdom. This is what he says:

When the concerns are urgent and important, one should attend to them immediately.
When the concerns are urgent but not important, one should have started preparing.
When the concerns are important but not urgent, one should get started.
When the concerns are unimportant and not urgent, one should work on them on a daily basis.

Alright it's been quite some time since i've posted my post on blog. I'm bak here to share a story with you: (charmed by its simplicity and wisdom)

Once, there was a pencil maker who spoke with a pencil just before putting it into a box to be sold. "There are 5 thing you need to know before i send u out into the world," the pencil maker told the pencil. "Always remember these five things, and you will become the best pencil that u can be.

First, you can be able to do many grea things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone's hand.

Second, you'll experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil.

Third, you might  be able to correct mistakes that u might make. You may not be able to erase them totally but u can make changes.

Fourth, the most important part of u will always be wat is inside u.

Fifth, on every surface that u're used on, you must leave ur mark. No matter what the condition is, you must continue to write."

The pencil understood these 5 things and promised to remember them, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
